Receive these types of notifications:

  • Task created

  • Status changed

  • New comment

  • New attachment

  • Assignee changed

Options include:

  • Include private: This will include all private tasks, Lists, and Folders.

  • Assigned to me: Only send notifications for tasks assigned to me. This option is only available for personal Slack notifications.

Note: You can only integrate one Slack Workspace per ClickUp Workspace at any one time.

How to enable Slack Notifications 

Step 1: Authorize Slack from the 'Integrations' page

Note: Only Workspace admins have access to integrations. 

Go to the Integrations page in Workspace Settings; click the button and you’ll be redirected to Slack to grant ClickUp access.

Step 2: Add Notifications 

Get granular by selecting Folders and Lists to filter out unwanted noise.

  1. Select a Workspace

  2. Select a Folder (optional)

  3. Select a List (optional)

  4. Select Slack channel: This is the channel in Slack where your notifications will be posted. 

Step 3: Customize Notifications

Customize the type of notifications to send to Slack.

  1. Click the settings cog to adjust the types of notifications

  2. Click Save

Note: Tasks in multiple Lists will only create Slack notifications if their home List is included in the selected location.

How to enable Personal Slack Notifications

Before you can get personal Slack notifications, an admin must first authorize the Slack integration for the Workspace.

With the ClickUp Slack integration, the unfurl feature is automatically enabled.
