Recurring options
Tasks have specific recurring options available so you can customize when and how tasks recur.
Recur
Set how frequently the task should recur. Options include:
Daily: The task will recur every day with the option to skip weekends.
Weekly: Recurs once a week on the day you choose.
Monthly: The task can recur on:
The same day each month.
A select weekday of the month, such as the first Friday.
The 1st of the month.
Or the last calendar date in the month, such as September 30th, followed by October 31st.
Yearly: Recurs once a year on the day you choose.
Days after: Set the task to recur a certain number of days after the task is completed.
Custom: Set the task to recur using a custom number of days, weeks, months, or years. For example, your task can recur every 90 days, or every 3 months (quarterly).
Status
You can trigger the recurrence when the task is in a particular status. Options include:
When closed: When the task is set to a closed status.
When done: When the task is set to a done status.
On schedule: When the selected date arrives, regardless of the task's status.
If you're using On schedule, the Update Status To option will appear allowing you to set the status of the task once it has recurred.
Note: Tasks set to recur On schedule that are marked as Done or Closed before their due date will create the next occurrence right away!
