What you'll need
Code blocks are available on every ClickUp Plan.
Guests can use code block formatting.
You can type or paste code into tasks, subtasks, Docs, Whiteboard, Columns, Chat view, text block Dashboard widgets, and Notepad.
Navigate to the location you're adding a code block to.
Paste a code block into the text editor.
Tip: You can also use the /Slash Command/co
and begin typing.Hover over the top right corner for the language dropdown.
Choose a language.
Your code block will format according to the language.
To select the entire code block without selecting any other content, press
Cmd + A
orCtrl + A
.To exit the code editor, press
Return
three times.
