Microphone permissions (not recording audio)

To fix this, make sure that your web browser is giving microphone access to ClickUp.

Once you begin recording, you should see a popup asking you to 'Allow' or 'Block' your microphone access to ClickUp while recording Clips. This is required to record your microphone.

If you do not see that pop-up (Chrome):

  1. Go to your browsers Privacy and security settings

  2. Click on 'Site settings' and click on 'app.clickup.com'

  3. Make sure that 'Microphone' is set to 'Allow'

If you do not see that pop-up (Firefox):

  1. Try recording a new Clip, it may ask you again if you would like to use your Microphone, like this:

  2. If it does not ask you, then start recording a Clip and press the microphone icon next to the URL. Then click the 'X' next to 'Blocked' in the Microphone section. This will allow ClickUp to ask you at the start of the next Clip you record

  3. Record a new Clip and allow permissions!
